Beauty products reviews

Here you will find a list of beauty products tested and reviewed by me and by some other independent critic people from this industry who gave me their opinion about some new products in the market. I believe is always good to know someone else`s opinion before buying something.

Avon Daily Astringent: This product keeps its promise and clear out stubborn blackhead and helps prevent blemish appearing. The only problem is because it contains alcohol in its formulation and if your skin is irritated you might experience that uncomfortable burning feeling  and also never apply around your eyes it really hurts.

Avon SuperExtend  Macara:  This product Claims lengthens even the shortest lashes to exceptional lengths. To be honest, I didn’t see nothing so spectacular in this mascara, its lengths your lashes like any other mascara and that is all To  have  a dramatic look you have to apply it at least 4 or 5 times and because its brush is small is easy to smudge your eye lid with the product.

Matrix Essentials- Sleek.look  Selling Serum >Step 4:  This hair serum is formulated to target frizz and the brand say that this product is lightweight and non-greasy but.......this is not what I could notice. even following the instruction exactly they oriented in the back of the product, my hair feels oily and heavy every time I tried to use it. I ask 2 friends with different hair types to use it as well and the result was the same, hair with greasy and dirty appearance. Also even if you rub it into the palm of your hands and apply the distribution of the product along the hair is not even. So, I don`t know what is the problem. The only positive point is the smell which is really good.

Gatineau Paris-Activ eclat-Gel exfoliant Enzymatique: This exfoliator is very smooth, and has a delicate smell. As you massage it onto your face it starts to melt as promised lifting up all the impurities and dead cells from your face. The effect is very light (it’s a mild enzymatic) because it is formulated for sensitive skin I particularly prefer something stronger but the product is good.

ESTEE LAUDER
Re-Nutriv Intensive Lifting Eye Cream

This cream is dry touch but at the same time  keep the eye area moisture, as others eye creams, it reduces puffiness & dark circles under eyes, boosts collagen & elastin due its formulation and also Minimizes the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, but I didn’t see the bright appearance on my eyes, feature claimed by the cream. For the price (ND$160.00) , it could do much more I reckon.

ELIZABETH ARDEN

Ceramide Plump Perfect Ultra Lift and Firm Eye Cream SPF15

http://imgh51.strawberrynet.com/images/common/space.gifThis cream claims to plump, lift & firm the area around the eyes. Targets fine lines, crow's feet, Lessens presence of puffiness & dark circle, plus protect the delicate eye area from harmful sun rays! What else we can wish from an eye cream? The price is not that bad, $99.00 at farmers and $78.00 at strawberrynet.com

Lash Accelerator by Rimmel:  Well I am really critical about mascaras, so I am sorry if sometimes I am too hard on my judgments.
their  promise: make your lashes  look longer and lusher, it's supposed to contain ingredients that promote lash growth, thus making your lashes grow and actually be longer after 30 days of use. I didn`t see nothing else than tint my lashes and give some length ( but nothing extraordinary) plus it is too wet take ages to dry, it`s not a long lasting mascara and after some hours it starts to leave  those famous panda eyes looking.  Sorry not for me. :(

The best  hair oil I ever tried. And I have tried many brands I can`t even count.  It leaves my hair super soft and shine, it works better than any anti frizz serum and doesn't weight my hair down. Summarizing, I highly recommend Moroccanoil, the only problem is the price! NZD$ 60!! So if you can't afford to buy it  the best thing to do is go for the similar ones that contain argan oil in its formulation. I recommend BC Bonacure Oil miracle from Schwarzkopf which is very good too.

Decent shampoo, gets the job done, and has a nice smell that isn't overwhelming. The conditioner is good too but if you have oily or fine hair, you shouldn't use it. My friend used the conditioner and the shampoo and she said she felt the hair FLAT and heavy. No volume. So roots would get greasy in less than a day

Simply amazing. worth the price. It only takes a little to cover all my hair ( my hair is wavy, fine and just below my shoulders) The hair feels smooth, shiny and manageable.
Unlike some other Kerastase masques, this has almost no smell so, highly recommended.
